What "WiFi Color LCD Display for BMS" is ?
Quote from ScanLabs on September 21, 2026, 5:49 amHello,
a limit of every LCD display I know in the market is that you must have it directly connected to the BMS.
Dreaming for a modern LCD display I can place everywhere, including hundred of miles far away from my BMS, brought me building this project.
The WiFi Color LCD Display simply works like a charm. Youtube Video as a demoProject’s Targets
1- reuse low cost CYD display in the market ( fully tested on 2.8″ 3.5″ CYD)
2- based on stable projects ( support Tasmota or OpenHasp )
3- super easy configuration ( as simple as cut&paste a configuration file )
4- User can build one or many without any constrain ( no hidden costs )
5- each display can monitor 1 or many BMS using a rolling screen
6- display works with or without internet ( for point to point communication)Uses cases the SSBdE dongle + WiFi display(s) are ready meant for:
Scenario 1, one BMS and multiple MQTT displays installed all over the world
Scenario 2, multiple BMS installed an different locations and multiple displays spread WW
Scenario 3, usage on Caravan, Cottage, Boat etc with Internet connection (MQTT )
Scenario 4, usage on Caravan, Cottage, Boat etc without Internet connection ( MODBUS ) via a Point to Point WiFi Link between SSBdE and Displaysome images may clarify a bit:
