03/05/25 VERSION 2.0 RELEASED
NEW BUILD-IT GUIDE
HW modification to this tiny display to have more PSRAM and to manage Auto brightness.
PSRAM is needed only if you need to monitor more BMS or if you want to see graphs.
Brightess modification is optional – the new sw support 3 steps brightness fully customizable.
The new configuration files provide better stability and the possibility to show multiple BMS parameter with only one display .
SO far tested with 10-BMS mixed between JK-Bx – JK-PBx – 100Balance & DALY each publishing every 10s 😉
NOTE: 06/04/25 :
If you notice your Tasmota display rebooting , you need to upgrade after a recent fix added to the main tree.

Original design was based on openHASP great project. openHASP is light, powerful, super easy but I found some limitations , expecially about MQTT TLS that prevents openHASP based display to work with HiveMQTT for instance. This is why I moved to TASMOTA project. The dongle will support and generate config files for both openHASP / TASMOTA .

FEATURE SET

– Open-MQTT protocol, based on Haspmota scripting language you can customize your dashboard . ( you do, don’t ask me how to do 😉 )
– Multiple battery packs supported on the same display
– Main Battery parameters shown on a single Dashboard
( hey guys I’m not a graph designer, I did my best, someone complained … this is a free project you can to better why don’t share with everybody ? )
– Charts will be available only on TASMOTA
( openHasp uses a version of LVGL libraries that does not support charts )
– you buy display on Aliexpress ad 10$ 😉

CURRENT LIMITATION
– openHASP : only MQTT not Secure MQTT TLS is supported (no HiveMQ for instance)

Two Displays linking to the same MQTT BrokerWORK In progress: READY with rel 3.2.4 coming soon
1- Some Charts 😉 this is about BMS POWER
